Draft. This text has not yet been reviewed and is not in force.
These terms apply when you use the Newmi app and this website. By using them you agree to the terms.
What Newmi is
Newmi is a news reader. It organizes headlines and links from publishers and sends you to the publishers’ own pages. Newmi does not write the news, does not check facts, and is not affiliated with the publishers it links to. The reporting, and the rights in it, belong to the publishers.
Your account
You can read without an account. If you sign in, keep your sign-in method secure and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You may merge two accounts only if you own both. You can delete your account at any time; see the Privacy policy for how.
Summaries and automated features
Summaries, grouping and rankings are automatic. They can be incomplete or wrong. Check the original reports before relying on anything that matters.
Newmi Plus
Where Newmi Plus is on sale, it is an auto-renewing subscription bought through your Apple account under Apple’s terms. It renews until you cancel in your Apple account settings at least a day before the renewal date. Free trials end into a paid plan unless cancelled. Refunds are handled by Apple.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service: no attempts to break or overload it, to access other people’s accounts or data, or to copy it in bulk.
Availability and changes
We try to keep Newmi working but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or stop features, and we may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version.
Liability
Newmi is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from relying on the content, summaries or rankings, or from unavailability. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer, or liability that cannot be limited by law.
